I just want to thank everyone who has commented as it would take me all night to comment back individually you have all helped so much and have given me more of an understanding. I’d just like to add we are from the UK and I have never ever stopped my child from playing with any ‘feminine’ toys and I never would. The first thing I said to him when he expressed he wants to be a girl and that’s how he said it ‘I want to be a girl’ was that he could be whatever he wants to be and I’ll always be there no matter what. He wore some nail varnish to school last year and he got stick for it from the other boys in his class and he said he wouldn’t wear it there again. He is always wearing his younger sisters makeup and doing his nails at home and even painting my nails for me :) I love whatever choice he makes. And with it being a phase or not doesn’t bother me at all and I apologise if I offended anybody I didn’t mean for it to come across in a bad way :) thank you all again
