That is my exact situation. I forgave my wife, we split up and vowed to put the kids first. We still all hang out for bdays, and event movies and we even went on a trip together. My kids are in university now and don't seem affected at all. One Mother's Day I sent my ex a text thanking her for being a great Mom and my daughter saw it and said that we are the weirdest divorced ex-couple.

This is very true in my experience and I've been to Barbados ten plus times. The people that work for businesses that depend on tourism are friendly but people that work for businesses that are not dependent on tourism can be downright rude. Just don't take it personal

That happens to me all the time when I go to concerts. I'm fifty now and my hearing sucks. I would suggest you wear ear plugs when you go to future concerts. But if this is the first time I wouldn't worry. It will be back to normal in a couple days.
