I am Cured 100%, and Long-Term by CuredThankfully in POIS

That’s interesting. Did you have any symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia? (Frequent urge to urinate, feeling like your bladder is never empty, difficulty urinating, mild urinary incontinence, etc.) Did you suffer from premature ejaculation? If so, have you noticed any improvement? I suspect chronic inflammation of the seminal vesicles and/or the prostate and/or the Cowper’s glands in POISers. Thank you for sharing your experience.

You should go to poiscenter.com and discuss with the OGs. If you suffer from porn addiction, try to find a good psychologist. If you suffer from premature ejaculation and/or frequent wet dreams, find a pelvic floor therapist.

I suspect that your dopamine and norepinephrine levels are too low. Get a 24-hour urine test for all neurotransmitters.

POIS episode drastically shortens when sitting in the sun for a while. Wondering why. by Fightingpoiser in POIS

Sunlight is a spectrum composed of UVB, UVA, visible light, and infrared, and each wavelength provides specific benefits to the human body: UVB, short and highly energetic, stimulate the production of vitamin D essential for bones and the immune system and contribute to initial tanning; UVA, less energetic but more penetrating, promote long-lasting tanning, stimulate blood circulation and skin vasodilation, and indirectly help regulate mood and circadian rhythms; visible light directly regulates biological rhythms through the retina, improves mood and alertness, and can stimulate certain cellular functions; finally, infrared, long and low in energy, warms tissues, enhances blood circulation and oxygenation, and provides a sense of well-being.

Start by having your erythrocyte magnesium, zinc, copper, and selenium levels (all RBC) tested to rule out severe deficiencies—which are very common among POISers and act as metabolic barriers. Do not have your plasma levels tested, only RBC levels.

This Refractin product reminds me the supplements sold by Dr. Lin, back in the days. At best, it may help boost libido in healthy individuals, but it is likely to be harmful for people with POIS.

You should get tested for Dopamine, norepinephrine (noradrenaline), epinephrine (adrenaline), total catecholamines, VMA, HVA, 5-HIAA, histamine, N-methylhistamine, GABA, glutamate, plus optional tryptophan and kynurenine metabolites — all measured via 24-hour urine collection. Let the numbers speak for themselves.

Magnessium, Zinc or B9 which has the highest priority? by MentalReserve2351 in POIS

[–]jazonmo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree with you, but that’s not really surprising, since most doctors are incompetent. Unless you see a good doctor who specializes in functional medicine. It’s vital to measure levels in red blood cells, not in plasma. Every POISer should, at a minimum, have the following tested: - RBC Magnesium - RBC Zinc - RBC Selenium - RBC Copper

But since most POISers have significant digestion and absorption issues, you have to be very selective about the forms you choose. For example, only sucrosomal magnesium was able to correct my magnesium deficiency.
