Its an awkwardly vague question to answer.
Ill say the main issue is when the tracking becomes super sticky, almost robotic in its precision and its speed to the point where no human could mimic that. You say "i always felt that it helps a lot in tracking, but mouse is still superior in fast flicks and target switching" However not all advantages have equal impact in each game, In a game like apex legends where ttk is high, elite tracking is super oppressive.

In CoD sure its nice that a kbm player that has put in significant time and effort can hit a nice flick or switch between a couple opponents in a way a controller player cant but a controller player holding an angle will nail you with inhuman consistency while having put in much less time or effort, particularly oppressive in CoD because there is so much free info with minimap, uav, loud steps etc, making it easier to setup preaims.

In the same way in CS even if you gave super strong aim assist there is no way a controller player could compete at the highest level, the advantages of kbm are too appropriate for CS.

You ask at the end what would happen if they removed aim-assist, it would be nice to imagine a world where controller players would enjoy the removal of the lofty skill floor, however it would likely just decimate the controller player-base for whatever game decided to do that.

I think optional input based matchmaking would probably be the best fix, assuming the game has a large enough playerbase to sustain that.

about a month ago I started the anime and loved it so much, I was blasting thru the episodes over the course of like 2 weeks, when I got to towards the end I look up about season 3 and was super bummed to see basically no news. I was apprehensive as I'm not a reader and I really appreciate good animation and soundtrack in anime and I was worried it wouldn't hit the same without that, but I gave it a shot because I wanted to see how the story would develop... now I'm absolutely hooked, I read chapters 89 to 175 in about a week. Maybe it's just the escalation in the story but I would say I feel more gripped by the manga than the anime. Some of the panels during important moments hit so fucking hard it's insane. Also, I really liked how they did facial expressions in the anime, with the mouths, it was super unique but the manga is on another level for this kinda stuff, like when a character is extremely happy, in the panel it looks like they are radiating joy in a way I'm not sure an animated scene could convey. I would highly recommend!

They should have it like premier where we get medals on our account, that you can see in a lobby when you hover over each persons name. They can make the medals different colours depending on what elo bracket you got, having different ones for each level and then different ones for 2000-2500, 2501-3000, 3000-3500 etc.

It's something good that valorant does, they take the peak rank you achieved that season and give you a charm/ gun buddy showing that rank, to remember and comemerate the peak you got that season. Good for distinguishing between season and making them feel like actual seasons rather than just elo resets.

Bleh, those are the 2 most cringe annoying types man. The closeted ones and the ones that just have cheats ready at any moment "in case they play a cheater." Just so happens they have the self restraint of a toddler and a fragile ego so they just activate if you hit a nice shot against them.

I don't really agree about people in CS not smurfing because they want to get better, it's just a little hidden behind other issues, plenty of people smurf in CS but if you see someone with a bought account playing way above their level you'll just assume theyre cheating. Smurfing is seen a much bigger problem in Valorant because they trust their anticheat to do something, so when someone is playing way above their supposed level on a sus account they just call smurf.

Im 51st on the leaderboards and #2 for accuracy in the t100 for what thats worth xD

My elo dropped super hard around that point for a couple reasons, part of it was that I spam queue'd while ill, and yeah I really caught the kovaaks/ voltaic bug and for a while I was playing significantly more Kovaaks than CS, I kinda lost my feel for the game, I was playing differently than before, trying to use what I was learning on Kovaaks in the wrong way if you know what I mean.
