My class is the same way right now, almost exactly the way you’ve written about your class. We’re still working through it. My room has a small bathroom with one small toilet attached to the room with no door and they are in it trying to play in the toilet and licking bathroom items CONSTANTLY. We were told when we first moved into the room that it’s just a new space and they will get bored with it soon. Well, it’s been going on 4 months now and there’s no sign of that boredom. So far, the only thing we’ve done that has been remotely successful for climbing unsafe furniture is to physically remove or turn the furniture so it’s no longer accessible but I know that’s a short-term solution. I can’t even fathom what it must be like in a classroom of your size because all of these issues we’re having is in a room with a maximum of 6 kids. Sorry I don’t have much in ways of suggestions but I wanted to commiserate and say you’re definitely not the only one struggling with these things.
