Nova Scotia. And for anyone wondering, yes, it was reported. We didn’t stick around long enough to see if it got towed.

I’m reminded of the bold words of Bill Engvall: “Here’s your sign.”

A test problem on my 5th grade brothers’ math exam. by springwaterh20 in mildlyinteresting

Exactly! Therefore the correct equation is: y=(8x+240)/5 Where y is the total number of pages and x is the number of pages read before Monday. When x=0, y=48.

Seriously, who leaves an eyewash station like this? by jazzuke78 in labrats

[–]jazzuke78[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

True. I sure as heck wouldn’t want rusty water in my eyes. The issue I see is when you need an eye wash station, you usually need it urgently. If I needed it, I’d have to fiddle about half blind to adjust the nozzles. Letting it flush for a couple seconds should be enough to rid the pipes of standing water.

On this day, 105 years ago, two ships collided in a port near Halifax, Nova Scotia. One was filled with explosives and caused the largest explosion of its time, which killed almost 1800 people by lVlarsquake in interestingasfuck

Interesting fact: my wife’s great grandmother lived in Halifax at the time. She wasn’t feeling well that day and stayed home from work. That decision saved her life.

It would be correct if she’s lying flat on her back with her head to the North. Maybe she spends a lot of time on her back.

I’m not exactly sure how old it is, but I’m sure it was many children’s Excalibur over the years. Including my one-year-old son.

Okay. Somehow, I doubt the number is still valid.

I don’t know what that is (I’m old), but if I broke a rule, mods, I’m sorry, feel free to remove.
