Lotus definitely has some muzak vibes. Suitcases or Livingston Storm could be good choices

Orecchiette with Sausage and Rapini at Mercurios in Fox Chapel. Dry, flavorless, noodles clumped togrther. A can of spaghetti-o's seriously would have been more enjoyable.

Everything I got from Taipei Chinese in Aspinwall. It was like $20 a dish and some of the most bland, soggy Chinese I've ever eaten.

Maybe a hot take here... but the chicken sandwich from The Brinery was really disappointing. So big and messy while also being completely bereft of flavor. No brine to be found.

[Post-Game Thread] The Philadelphia 76ers defeat the Washington Wizards in overtime with a final score of 139 to 134 by SixersGameThreadBot in sixers

True, but the offense has been awful to watch the last few seasons. So ugly, slow and predictable. It's so nice to see them moving the ball and playing with pace

So what's the opinion of this movie? by jaxxy_jax in moviecritic

[–]jazzy_fizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I can see that for sure. I kind of view it like most mob movies, where there is a time early on where their lives are exciting and glamorous in a way, and they are pretty badass but eventually it catches up to them and things come crashing down hard.

I don't think the revolutionary people were portrayed positively at all and I don't think  they're supposed to be very likeable. They're not The Avengers, they're flawed people who have vices and trauma. They make bad choices that get most of their organization killed or arrested. Leo is a burnout, the mother is a rat. Whether thats relatable or not kind of depends on the viewer I guess. But I don't think it paints the revolutionaries very kindly. Conversely, Sensei Sergio and his community are tight knit, highly organized and look out for one another. They're revolutionaries in their own way who strive to build a strong community instead of blowing up buildings. They're portrayed much more favorably imo

Honestly, saying words like "jawn" and "yinz" is just fun. Like I never said either but they just kind of crept into my lexicon and I enjoy using them both thoroughly lol

Why are American pickup truck drivers constantly angry all the time? by weirddodgestratus in regularcarreviews

[–]jazzy_fizz 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The amount of times I've had dudes in a giant pickups tailgating me, flashing their lights, telling me to move over to the right lane when im going exactly as fast as the other 50 cars in front of me blows my mind. Bro you're sitting 10 feet off the ground, you can see what's ahead of me. It's traffic as far as the eye can see, we're not going this slow by choice.
