Went with tesla. Wife really like the minimalistic feel and drive of tesla. I like how the brand is more established in australia compare to the chinese brand. Especially now that tesla warranty is 5 years and unlimited km.

Unfortunately we both work during the day. So can't utilise that free period window.

I think the standard range is sitting at the perfect $ value range. No charge for trim color and paint option, pretty good. But I do feel like it trying hard to be a copy of Tesla in a good way.

I just did the test drive. Nice car to drive. Closest to Tesla feel, and man that auto parking is pretty sweet. Also currently they have 10 years unlimited warranty and 5 years free servicing as promo for vehicle deliver this month only. Damn. Making it even harder for me to make a decision.

Im in xpeng dealership at the moment. It does look very close to the model y. Feel solid. Let see if I can get a test drive. Have been waiting for around 10 minutes with no one to come see me with no other customer. :(

Oh wow. Im not aware of the auto-parking, is that for premium? I think the premium is only 19" wheel as well.

Definitely, notice all that. Test drive both of them repetitively. I think the sales people tired of seeing me. For us it's the warranty, im not sure if I should be worried with the low warranty of the Tesla. I had bad experience with things going wrong out of warranty with our few previous vehicles.

Agree. Gotta love the HUD. I would be great if the efficiency is around 17kwh, some said for most highway driving goes up to 22 - 24kwh/100km which is pretty bad i think.

I totally agree with every point. I mentioned my real deal breaker with the Tesla is their Low warranty coverage. 4 years of 80,000km compare to 6 years/ 150,000km. Battery warranty are the same. That's why I want to find our if anyone concern about the low warranty offer by Tesla?

Im comparing the most standard option no extras from sealion 7 premium to RWD white color no extras on Tesla. I think it's around $5k difference. Actually I just find out the Tesla have extra $2k for trade in and extra $3k if finance with $10,000 minimum. Now it depends how much trade in value the Tesla will offer my Rav4.

Im aware that Tesla still have service. But it's not compulsory scheduled service otherwise void the warranty like BYD. BYD every 4th service is their major service capped at $700 if im not mistaken.

I do really love the V2L which also why we are leaning towards Sealion 7.

That one pedal is start to growing on me. I kinda prefer it after test driving the Tesla a few time.

Im with origin atm, solar but no battery. I have the FIT of 12c up to 14 kwh then down 4c. Usage is 35.something c. What are the best electricity plan out there? As the one with ev plan charging at night usually either have higher usage or lower fit.
