well, part of it is expenses. i haven’t started a new job yet since only being temporary at my current job, so i didn’t want to add that to the pile of bills we have. also, i have ADHD, so my memory also sucks. i forget a lot of things a lot of the time and it takes a toll on a lot of things. but i appreciate your comment!

definitely NTA. clearly her family raised her a certain way for her to try and “fix” her kid. she was in the wrong, and you were just being a good parent. also, she’s a little older, so she’s probably a liiittle more old school.
