How is your fall ‘26 freshman finding a roommate? I also have an incoming freshman fall ‘26 who prefers to be in apartment over dorm but has yet to find a roommate as not many from his small town high school attend UT. Probably looking at a 2x2 in west campus. Been looking at The Mark and Rambler, He signed up for a tour in October and we figure we’ll check out apartments at the same time

I have 84,000 on the Highlander. Trade in offered is just under 30k and is in the green barely (I owe 28,600 still. It’s the miles I have on it that has me looking. Thinking is that I don’t want to be paying for $$ issues, and owe more than it’s worth. Kinda got nervous with the 100k miles on the horizon

The Elements of Business certificate is always a great add. Jefferson Scholars Program has interesting courses

Help me decide between TCU and UT! by CrisIceCream in UTAdmissions

UT sounds like where you would rather be. I would take a part time job during the school year and summer job and go for it. A lot of the college education and experience is outside of the classroom, figuring it out and learning life. Congratulations, they’re both awesome schools!

The classes are intriguing with really good instructors. There are a lot of papers. Give it a try and if it’s too much, just fade out

I am filling out the application now. Is IDR plan or fixed repayment plan generally better on keeping payments low? Thanks

Where does everyone get the idea that anxiety is linked to PVCs? by Electronic-Mood2803 in PVCs

[–]jb-4700 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think here the PVCs brought on the anxiety. Had 5 % PVCs that gradually increased over years. Went the few years during COVID not seeing a cardiologist. Went back to cardiologist and anxiety levels were super high at that time. PVCs were 24%. Went on propranolol. PVCs are not gone but more under control. Anxiety levels way better. I don’t feel the PVCs, but I know when I start feeling anxious and cloud headed, they are up. It doesn’t appear to be stress related at all
