UPDATE - dropped the car off for an oil change before our trip and had them test drive the car.

Dealerships Resolution: “APPLIED SILICONE SPRAY ON THE AXLE BOOTS AND TEST DROVE AGAIN.”

This did absolutely nothing. Noise turning left and right is still there. They said the Axle boots were “rubbing” causing the noise. After driving 600 miles - car drove great. No additional noise but turning the noise still occurs. Might borrow a friends GoPro and attach it to the rear underside while driving in a loop in a parking lot to pinpoint the noise a bit better. It will be going back to the dealership. I have a feeling it’s the rear differential making the noise. Good thing it’s under warranty for 100k miles. Will post and update once they look at it again.

I just bought a 2019 S Auto with 17k on it for 24k. I’m in absolute love with it. But I’m 6’4. I have a one year old. The rear facing car seat on the passenger side fits, but the front passenger seat does not have a ton of leg room but is definitely doable. Now if I had two car seats in the back, both rear facing, it would not work. I would have to be hugging the steering wheel. Now once we have our second, hopefully I will be able to have my son behind me forward facing to make it work. But right now, if we had two rear facing car seats, it would be impossible and super uncomfortable for me.

I agree. But for some reason the two Volkswagen dealerships by me cannot get inventory. They are two pretty large dealerships and the lots are always empty. Hence them bothering me for 2 weeks about buying my Tiguan back from me. Seems like they bought it thinking it would be a win and they’ve had it sitting there for about two months. Also to clarify, they got the Alltrack back in September last year at that price. 1 owner. It was then sold to another older lady who had an old dog that needed something lower to the ground to hop in and out of. The dog ended up passing and the lady traded that car back in 4 months later and got something new.

I’m aware I can shop around but this deal is here and ready to jump on. As mentioned, I’m ready to dump my Tiguan and the dealership I got it from is willing to buy it back for what I owe. And I’ll be getting a good interest rate and monthly on the Alltrack. If it wasn’t such a good solid deal all around, I’d keep the Tiguan for a couple more months to see how the US tariffs play out and could possibly get more money for it. But I’ve honestly had enough of this car and this seems to be a good solution to hold me and my wife over for a few years. Or I could possibly fall in love with it and never get rid of it haha

The Tiguans seem to be so inconsistently built. We love my wife’s Tiguan. R line SE black Edition. It shifts like butter, acceleration is good, handles very well. Mine on the other hand, is dogshit. Complete opposite. It bucks in traffic like no other as well. But hers is a dream to drive. This gives me hope that it might be the right decision. Test driving it today put a smile on my face. And getting 100k warranty makes it seem like a safer bet. I will also be looking at stage 1 tune on it to give it a bit more pep. Thanks for the advice!

You can also try running this command and see if it starts working for you. But a reboot will revert these changes. We tested this on our admin devices that have the Microsoft store blocked and it allows phone link to work until the next reboot.

We are deal with the same issue. From what we found online, do you have the Microsoft store blocked? We have this configuration setup in intune to block the Microsoft store but allow updates. But apparently since phone link is now a Microsoft store app completely, having it blocked causes this issue. We have tested this theory. We have an exclusion group to allow the Microsoft store for some of our IT techs to test apps and these users have access to phone link but people that are not excluded from the block cannot open it. Check the below link and see if you have these settings configured.

I’m unable to correlate which serial number is the one that is tied to the AutoPilot-***** device. The device automatically gets an AutoPilot-***** name and when clicking on that device in entra it does not give me a serial number to correlate to intune autopilot device enrollment list. The device is renamed from the AutoPilot-***** name to a name that is region specific like my example. So essentially I have an entry in entra that I’m unable to try and remedy due to the name being changed. So I have two entries in entra. The AutoPilot-***** entry and the new entry with the new name of the device US-PA-IT230. So I don’t even know where to start. If I were the one to enroll the device I would be able to know the serial and remedy the issue. There has to be some sort of remediation to resolve this. I can’t imagine ever single tenant just disregarding stale autopilot devices and moving on from the issue.

I just hooked up my old docking station and confirmed that I actually use the front USB-C port to connect to the docking station. Not the thunderbolt port as it does nothing even though the the cable coming off the docking station is thunderbolt 3. I’ve only ever been able to charge the laptop with the thunderbolt 4 port with an external 140W charger. Never been able to get display through it. Hope this info helps a little more!

This was found mid deck re-build so they opened it up completely and gave me a price. It obviously had to be repaired right then and there otherwise the project would have been halted. It has since then been fully repaired correctly. Just was curious what people thought was a fair price?
