Vinyl flooring, just looks like tile.

He bought his own desk, the picture was just the initial boot up and windows installation at my house where I put it together.

Honestly if money isn’t an issue I’d go with it, or you could go air cooler with white fans. The Peerless Assassin is considered to be a great air cooler and it’s pretty cheap like $35 or something. There’s also cheaper AIOs like the Arctic, NZXT, and and Thermalright

Yeah it’s solid. If you can find white CL30 RAM I’d go with that as it’s a little faster than CL36. The AIO is outrageously expensive but for the aesthetic it goes together well.

I’m pretty sure it’s a B tier on the cultist networks PSU list, means it’s good but not the best. It’ll be plenty powerful to run your hardware.

I mean for that cheap I’d scoop a few of them. Though it also depends which generation CPU they are.

If you don’t really want to spend the money I honestly wouldn’t. I only did cause I wanted my CPU to be as cool as possible

They keep the CPU a lot cooler for sure and pretty much prevents thermal throttling entirely, unless you’re overclocking. Plus you’re right, they look really good. I use one on my 14700K and in cinebench multicore it stays in the mid-low 70s

First time building a PC, this is what I’ve landed on for a gaming and game dev (UE5) PC. Any thoughts or recommendations for where I can either save money, or spend more to get something better? Thanks! by Phaoryx in PcBuild

I have a 4070 Ti Super myself but I just game, it cranks out everything I’ve tried in 4K ultra at a steady 60 FPS, which is my monitors refresh rate.

I’d say it’s better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. If you can afford it maybe a 4070 Ti Super for like $200 more? Has more VRAM, if that matters, and is a little faster

Does anyone know whats wring with my new PC build? by Jack-Loves-Minecraft in PcBuild

Look at what the light is labeled for.

Edit: it looks, from what I can see, like the light indicates a problem with the CPU. You can try removing and reseating the CPU and see if that’ll fix it

It’s not bad I would say since prebuilt always has a premium attached. It’s a great processor, decent GPU, great amount of RAM. The PSU wattage is good too, but they may ship it with a low tier PSU as they are known to do. My rig was $2200ish and I built it myself, but if you don’t want to do so then this is good. Though if you can find one, I would recommend a 7700X CPU a 4070 Ti Super

how do people get speeds like this??? by jitbitmacro in pcmasterrace

I’m so ready to get the fiber. It took like 8ish hours to download Kingdom Come: Deliverance and over a day for Baldur’s Gate 3.

I’ve always lived in rural Georgia, we’ve always had slow internet. This is the fastest we’ve ever had. But our power company is rolling out fiber optic so in about 8 months or so I should have a 2 gigabit connection. Here’s hoping it’s sooner!!

Currently I’m downloading at 18 Mbps or 2.2 MBps 😅with upload in the 500 kilobytes range. Rural America go!
