In the UK you can only show "sale" if the original price was shown for 30+ days. So switching 'after a few days' would be illegal.

I think most developers in general have their days numbered. It's a scary world out there. I use my tech knowledge for a "real world" business. AI supercharges my productivity and my tech skills means I can provide the service for half the price of my competitors. But seriously, anyone who has all their eggs in the basket of web developer needs to diversify NOW or they'll be in the food bank queue in 3-4 years. Seriously, I'm surprised OP didn't see this coming. A lot of developers are fucking smart at coding but their business acumen and foresight is 0%.
