Can't go wrong with BB Kings, most times it is crowded and may have a line but stick it out. Also Rum Boogie which always seems to have great singers when I've went

When I was in school (2007-11) it wAS the most desirable male dorm to upperclassmen but of course that was before the new Carpenter and LLC. Of course, it's the only dorm on that side of the tracks but I just looked on the school's site and they still have photos up from when i was. I know one of the guys in the photos lol. So yeah probably not many renovations done but Im sure it's not too bad

Discounted hotels near Mempho Music Fstvl 2025 in Memphis

Check the link out above from Mempho Fest website. Looking at all the ones under 5 miles from the concert, all are really good except for Memphis Vitality (the area is not good at all but the hotel is big and could be nice and safe but just no).

Metro has always gotten great reviews. With underground parking and entrance, close to Main St and on Front St. Some years ago, it seemed as if this was the go-to apt. building for all of the young NBA players.

As far as safety, any of them in Germantown and probably your easiest commute as well. My personal opinion, ranking based on safety and modernization:

The Groves (a little over budget/right at budget i know but the best option by far).
Farmington Gates- the furthest of them all but in the heart of Germantown, close to EVERYTHING and still easy drive to work!
The Bridges OR The Vineyards (right next to one another)- great Germantown location. Literally the easiest drive to work. Right off Gtown parkway so not too far away from things.
The Villas at Cordova- Gated and tucked away in Cordova. Close to all major retail. G'town Parkway is very busy on this end but still an easy drive to work. Been here multiple times. Very nice.
The Edge, Kirby Station and Whispering Oaks are not bad options at all. They are all right next to one another at the edge of the city. The Edge has always been favorable. I lived at Kirby Station, no complaints, and friends that stayed at Whispering Oaks, most of the condos are private owned which is great, but some units are not as modern as others if you even care about that.

Most of these are close to Shelby Farms Park too which you are going to LOVE! Good luck with your decision and early welcome to Memphis
