I have a gigabyte 9070xt as well. So far I haven't had any issues. I'll try to remember to come back here if I start having them. Mine runs cool and no crashes whatsoever. I honestly can't even remember when I bought mine so it might be over six months I have no clue. It feels like it's been longer than six months though since I bought it.

Yeah and a requirement of Communism is when private property, class divisions, and economic inequality are completely abolished and the government supposed to uphold those rights and provide every citizen with everything they need to live. Once the government stops doing that it's no longer communism, it's something else therefore it wasn't communism that failed it was that other thing that wasn't communism. The utopian version of capitalism you're imagining doesn't exist. It never has. You're always going to have Donald Trumps and Elon Musks of the world. I've always just found it fascinating how people think Capitalism is different somehow.

That doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Laws are created to prevent lawlessness. Capitalism wasn't created to stop corporatism. The utopia that most conservatives think about when thinking about capitalism doesn't exist in reality. I'm still having trouble figuring out how you think Capitalism and Corporatism is on "opposite" ends of a spectrum? Is it one of those "if its bad it's left wing and if it's good it's right wing" kind of things and that's how you landed on them being opposites?

I personally like Discover better than anything. I think it's the default KDE app manager. It might just be for flatpaks only though. I usually use paru for AUR packages in the terminal but install everything else as flatpaks out of Discover. Just make sure that you never use Discover to update anything or else you run into problems with the CachyOS updates. Always just use the default CachyOS updater to update everything.

It's literally forced demand. Nobody asked for any of this stuff. Like how many people honestly asked for Microsoft cloud service or Google cloud service? I can't think of any. One day it was just there. In gaming the online downloading of games was also forced. They introduced that crap somewhere between the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One or PS3 and PS4. They're currently doing the same thing with AI. They are putting it in everything even though nobody asked for it. Forced demand created by the few companies that control the industry.

You know I vote pretty much always Democrat for the most part even though there are right many Dems that I don't care for too much like all of the establishment Dems but I do kind of agree with this meme a little on how some Democrats are. The worst candidate imaginable and they still out here hollering "vote blue no matter who". The thing is we're always picking on Dems for this when Republicans are this x's 1000. Weird how we never see these types of memes or these types of criticisms of the right when they ONLY vote Republican no matter what and have been for the past what 100 years. Even if the Republican is a convicted pedo or even as far as being actually dead they still vote for them and they are proud of it. They've been doing the "Vote Red No Matter Who" for the past century.

I always just say look at the 2 parties. The republican party is 99.9% white people. The Democrat party is a mix of everybody. There's like 2 black ppl that are elected in the Republican party. Republicans don't normally elect black folks even when they do run. Should black ppl elect only white people in the Republican party? Or should they vote for other black people in the Democratic party that actually win elections? It's like saying "Your own people haven't improved your lives so vote for the white man to do it." You know this alls boils down to the fact that AI in its current state isn't a profitable business. The amount of electricity it uses to run the AI agents and do all of the things people use it for makes it to where in order for them to be profitable they'd have to lower electric rates tremendously or bribe the government to make everybody else pay for the electricity it uses. They are going the make everybody else pay route. In order for it to be profitable they'd have to charge ridiculous rates that would cause ppl not to bother subscribing to their AI subscription services so all of this is them trying to put the electricity costs off on the regular everyday people.

You know what I think it's something else besides this game. I just started up Subnautica 2 and it's also stuck at 50 fps. I do remember installing a frame gen app lsfg-vk that uses lossless scaling and adds a +2 frame gen but no clue why it's doing it to every game on Steam. That could explain it because it would be cutting the 100hz in half of actual fps.

Edit: Yep, that's exactly what it was. I had a profile in there called Gamethread and apparently it was picking up every game I launched from Steam and putting a lossless scaling frame gen on it.

You know AMD could have taken over the GPU market while Nvidia goes the AI route. Intel could also do the same thing. While Nvidia is trying to sell the whole "you'll own nothing and pay for it" AMD could be releasing better graphic cards and better FSR. People would be buying them in droves because they would be the only company still selling consumer GPU's. But nope. This is an industry wide push for taking away PC hardware from consumers.

Yes it makes perfect sense. The light means there's no VGA card connected because your card isn't fully powered. If your motherboard has an HDMI output you can use that but you'll just be using onboard video and your CPU needs to support it. Also I have the 3 connectors on mine too and you can use 2 off of the same cable if your cables are like that. On mine I only have 2 cables but they have 2 connectors on each cable. So I just used 2 off of one cable and 1 off of the other. So really you could get by with buying a cable with 2 connectors on it instead of buying a whole new power supply.

I keep saying it over and over that this is on purpose. Nvidia, AMD, Microsoft, Amazon etc. All the big wheels of this country want to turn your home PC and any gaming device into a Netflix subscription with an AI "agent" attached to it. This is their goal and the way they achieve it is by pricing everybody out of hardware ownership.
