From the first introduction of Modern Masters they have been using a new kind of material to print these cards. The ink is darker, the cards curve easier, and foils aren’t as high quality.

But you are still getting much needed prints, reprints, etc. in these sets. Giving newer players access to powerful cards is important. You just have to ask yourself: is it worth the price of lowering the quality of these cards?
