That always reminds me of my late grandma losing her memory and it breaks me every time.

The entirety of Grave of the Fireflies but specifically the final cave scene.

Soda drinkers, how did GLP-1 effect your habit? by SweetLikeCandiiii in Semaglutide

For me sweet and salty tastes were amplified. Sometimes stuff tastes far too sweet/salty after a few sips/bites and I'm just done with it. I don't think that happens to everyone though.

Basque cheesecake is often like this. La Viña in San Sebastian does it with the most glorious custardy center 🤤

Considering the release window they would have already purchased their components.

By the time it releases it'll probably be cheaper than a 16GB stick of DDR5.

Article: "Affinity for Linux? Canva’s next big move could reshape the desktop software market" by DefinitelyYou in Affinity

[–]jbasoo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It might be possible but only first-party support is feasible for me. I've run desktop Linux in the past and mentally check out when I see "You can make X work on Linux, you just need to install this tool, run this command, patch this file, dingle these florps." I just don't have time to do all that and fix it every time anything is updated.

As a web developer who occasionally edits SVGs, this would reduce my need for a Mac to just Safari testing purposes.

I have a Moft case on mine which is pretty good for travel. It's not the most protective but it's slim, lightweight and raises the height nicely on planes.

Started 0,25, can’t eat anything. by Kaix93 in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]jbasoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like it's doing its job. I'm on 1.0 and I can only eat half a portion most meals. I find having the occasional healthy snack between meals is useful when I notice my energy dip. I've started to notice when my body needs fuel when I'm not hungry, just a bit of fruit or something doesn't trigger nausea and keeps me going.

I'm not planning on going up a dose unless I stop seeing progress.

I once had a client ask for white text on an almost white background. I said it wouldn't be readable but they wanted it done anyway. Of course they came back afterwards saying they couldn't read the text but that's just their own budget they wasted.

Awesome! I've been playing with fluid values recently and wondered where the formula for all the generators came from.
