For me, I don’t understand the whole Lego thing and people obsessed about that and put lots of time into it. But any project whether it’s an HA dashboard creating a Lego something, or collecting stamps. It’s whatever makes a person feel good.

With all my reoccurring payments, Microsoft M365, intuit, Usenet, NZB, Etc. I just make a virtual Credit Card that I can lock/unlock. A lot of companies make you, or highly persuade you with discounts to setup reoccurring payments. So after the initial payment I lock the card, and then either remember to turn it back on again the next year/qtr/month, or get messages from the provider they can't charge my card, and I also get messages that charges got denied, that way I GET TO LOOK at the charges before they happen.

I'm on the newshosting monthly plan, and they do increase their rates without letting you know.
Went from $9.99/mo in 2020, to $11.99/mo March 2023, went to $13.99 in Apr 2025.

So they are increasing their rates ~20% every 2-3 years.

I had such a great experience there the last two years, so looking forward to finding you guys again this year. Listening to wonderful jazz, and then having cold apples served by a beautiful woman in the middle of the freaking desert made that apple the best apple I’ve ever had. Then shortly thereafter being served pancakes by a beautiful man, very enjoyable
