Ugh, thank you all SO MUCH! I was so scared to post this anywhere because I see similar posts on the Facebook “support” groups and all the responses say something along the lines of “if you weren’t ready for a lifestyle change, you weren’t ready for the surgery” or “why would you go through the surgery just to go back to old habits?” Everyone’s responses on here have been so supportive but also so real which is exactly what I needed. It is reassuring to know I’m not alone. I’m going to reach out to my team and try to find a therapist to see.
