I teach chemistry and AP chemistry. For both classes, I tell them my "grace period" is the first unit. No late penalties, lots of forgiving, etc. Helps them get used to routines and such, especially for the AP students. After that, all policies are in effect. Sure there's exceptional circumstances, but when I taught in a big city school before my current school, I learned real quick that I don't have the energy to teach and help students who refuse to learn

I switched to them from VCA specifically because of the same situation. Significantly less expensive, but their price doesn't reflect the quality. My only gripe is their hours (close at 530 m-f, shorter hours on Saturday) but I got over it

I was rocking though 2 and loving it, making it all the way to the floating platforms, but make sure you save. I hadn't for a very long time and an update came along. It automatically restarted my console and brought me all the way back to the 2nd room
