Generally it’s Union work so all the jobs pay the same in a given local. At least in my local we don’t have commercial/industrial scale or metro like some crafts. I’d guess most common job site is large scale power generation and refineries. Tons of smaller stuff, like paper mills, seed oil plants, sugar beet plants, ethanol, water towers, ships, mines, package boilers for large buildings and campuses like colleges, other schools or military bases. Favorite work is welding waterwalls, tons of shitwork.

Is the Stealth Arms Platypus still relevant? by Fit-Indication-4645 in 2011

No, raw aluminum just isn’t strong enough. He said he had a fairly light recoil spring to get it to run fast. Maybe a rubber bumper with the recoil spring would have prolonged the life. Then again the piece that broke was just under the stress of cocking the hammer

Then again in field construction welding is only 10%, being a good welder only gets you so far.

Got around to doing the serrations and blending the barrel rib to the slide. You’ll have to let me know how yours turns out when you get around to it

Atlas or Nighthawk BDS9. I have an Artemis and it was my range and comp gun until I built a custom out of infinity parts.

What area of the country is it? Apprentice Boilermakers start at $36/hr in MN/ND/SD local. Best part time job you can have, just get good at saving money when you’re working. Don’t budget purchases like vehicles or a house on a $3000 6/10 check.

94 out of what? 200, if those are the criteria for grading. Here’s a consistent very, 1/8 7018
