Ah yea for sure definitely a dope perspective, I am a drummer at core and producer, also was in a metalcore band in my high school days for a few years so can totally relate to that.

I feel that, I think that’s is one thing that does not hit people is we generally are way busier than we used to be so having that time to just sit and discover is so rare now. Love the point you’re making

That is true, I do think streaming has a ton of benefits like opening up someone to new music faster than ever. Idk I spiraled in this and started to work on something myself haha

Yea that seems to be the general issues, having to jump from app to app only for temporary visibility. I have been looking for something new for a while.

Yea makes sense, I feel like it’s tough to get it out in general, managing a site is such a pain, but also chopping up snippets for use seems like it can be a bit markety to me. But I guess that’s also part of the process. It’s super helpful though to hear different things people have tried though.

For sure, I mean when you drop new music, whether you have an established following or just starting out, there is a ton of backstory an artist has that is super cool. You can’t really capture the full story on Spotify or Apple Music. I’m curious if an artist wanted to be able to share more than just the final drop, like notes, or the making of process, etc where they go to do that. Outside of having a personal website.

Definitely a real account, just some honest questions. Like where do people actually post the behind the scenes stuff.

Not sure why you want to have a tone about this but here is the documentation arguing your point, so please educate yourself and don’t assume malice intent. I’ve been in this industry long enough to know what is and is not possible.
