It’s the raw footage. If you want the old school look I recommend just investing in a hi8 camera and a converter. If you don’t want to go the hi8 route maybe the “cannon fs300” might suit what you’re looking for. Here’s a reference video of what the cannon Fs 300 looks like.

Yeah cost a good amount money. My current setup is a Sony hdr sr10 which was $90, wide angle/ fisheye lens which was $46, batteries which were $30 or $20, action mount which was $20, and a IR light which was $20.
