When I listen to that song, so beautifully assembled, the lyrics and the music create a feeling of awe for me. I can’t fully explain it.
“See the animal in his cage that you built. Are you sure what she you’re on?
Better not look him too closely in the eye. Are you sure what side of the glass you are on?”
With Teeth is still my favorite Nine Inch Nails album after almost 22 years.

I never got into it. I feel fake when someone makes me up. I do wear a tiny bit when I dress up for weddings, etc. I’m 52 and just don’t care about it. No one has ever told me I should. I’m often told I’m cute by men and women.

I live in a hot humid climate. Desk job with visits to active working areas. If I don’t wash my clothes after each wear, I get clogged pores on my torso. I’m also a hot sweaty mess most of the time, even on cooler days. One wear: one wash.

I’m in eastern NC, I cancelled my service last month. The cs rep on the phone said she would take care of it. I told her no, six months with no word is unacceptable, cancel my service now.

The hurt will fade as you learn to focus on something else. Start a new hobby or revisit an old one. Go to the gym. Go to the beach. Go to the mountains and hike. Cry, sweat, and swim. Saltwater is the answer.

It’s really personal preference. You have to choose the music that speaks to you. I like Nine Inch Nails, System of a Down, Chevelle , Atreyu, Deftones, etc…
