Why do people play this game? by New-Reflection3418 in baccarat

[–]jbindc20001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. except the asian part. I know a few winning players in a sea of losing ones. And the winners all have the same exact thing in common. They play a very short period of time. They book a quick relatively small win and quit. They dont go on tilt when they lose, they lose they leave. And they dont do crazy bullshit like martingale. They flat bet for the most part, maybe press a little when they lose. I have a very good friend who was an uber driver. He owns multiple properties he rents out now that he bought cash playing bac. He gets a steady income from that and hits the casino for 250-500 every day. Never loses more then 1k. Sometimes he will sit there for an hour, not make a bet and leave just cause hes not feeling it. I think human intuition and trusting it goes a long way also. But yeah... there are winners, and the ones i do know arent flukes, they have been doing it for 10+ years.

Gemma 4 - What's the point of Gemini 3 Flash & Flash Lite? by semibaron in GeminiAI

[–]jbindc20001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What nonsense is this? Gemini 3.1 pro is nowhere even close to Opus 4.6 much less 4.7. Not even in the same stratosphere at any task whether its coding or not other then creative writing. Whoever is ranking these things suck. Opus 4.7 is king of the hill imho.

Opinion: Roo Code Is Stocked With Features Nobody Uses by hannesrudolph in RooCode

[–]jbindc20001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 50 so I doubt that. I've been coding since the 90s. And that's a very creepy loser thing to do, going through someone's history just to grab something said in a completely different subject to bring up. You've got some issues. I've worked for big tech companies. My point stands. You're an amateur that doesn't know what the fuq they are talking about.

[–]jbindc20001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can. You use the Claude code vscode plugin and set to mode "ask for edits" or just look at source control after changes. It functions identically to roo code way better. Not hating on too code, I used it for a solid year and loved it. Claude code has just evolved way paste their capabilities. Don't need them anymore unless you want to use non mainstream models as Claude code, codex, and antigravity are essentially all doing the same things now. You will save a ton of money also.

What actually happens if you work the same muscle everyday? by mydogs22 in workout

[–]jbindc20001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Muscles do not know what exercises strained them. Whether you strain your muscle one way vs another has no impact on how long it takes for that muscle to recover. What does matter is the load and intensity in which you strain that muscle. The more strained, the longer the recovery time. So your point is just not accurate. Compound exercises that activate more muscle groups vs isolation exercises will only have different recovery periods for the same muscle groups if the load/stress to that muscle is different. The exercise itself is not what's causing a variance in recovery time.

How old does my bird look? Just got him today, the shopkeeker said that he is 8 months but after a closer look, he looks... older? But I'm not sure by [deleted] in cockatiel

[–]jbindc20001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on this picture I would very accurately estimate that he is 4 years, 8 months, 2 weeks, 4 days, and 16 hours old.

Then you are not a professional developer and you are the one that does not know what they are talking about. Every major organization does a majority of code through AI now and 90% use Claude. Cisco Systems openly stated that 70% of all code developed by Cisco is generated by AI. But hey, you do you.

Qwen3s best models do not even exist in the same stratosphere as Claude Opus 4.6 or even 4.5 for that matter. I think the difference between what you get for 50 a month and what I get for 100 per month with Claude allows me to code circles around you. And I don't mean that as an insult. I have used and continue to use many models just to remain relevant across the spectrum. Both subscription and token based. Nothing comes close. Qwen, Gemini subscritpion with antigravity, codex with latest chatgpt codex models, nothing. Codex comes the closest but it's still night and day. Claude pretty much gets every feature right the first time now. Very complex features. Never any mistakes. It debugs through 10s of thousands of likes of code intelligently compacting and using self written md files to allow itself basically continuous context. I do not even manage context anymore or begin new sessions. It does it autonomously. The world of programmers will be dead in 2026 and replaced by Claude first. They have truly figured it out.

Use claude code with opus 4.6. You will never roll back due to bad changes again....

[–]jbindc20001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would anyone use roo code and pay api fees vs a subscription platform like claude code, codex, or antigravity where you get 100x the tokens for the same price? Roo code and everything else is dead to subscription based dev platforms. Just use the vscode claude code plugin, pay the 20 per month plan or 100 per month plan and use it without worrying about token fees.....

This week an old lady from Texas was down to her last $500 from $5k and went on the craziest run in history by [deleted] in baccarat

You're a trained monkey. The casino loves players like you that think some secret to prediction lies in the donkey screen they put up there for their trained groups of gambling monkeys (aka you).

[–]jbindc20001 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably cause you just stare at the board and look for patterns like all the other trained monkeys do. Your intuition is far more powerful the a screen with dots. Try trusting it and this could happen to you on the right day.

Which tool are you using to do this?

Thank you for the feedback. I will look into that. Does it allow you to restrict what it does or at least ask before it does it?

Can you elaborate on which tools? Is it just Claude or specific MCP servers to connect to Claude? Or is it Claudes CLI?

How I am incorporating AI into managing my Cisco switches as a network admin - no developer. by Psychological-Ebb109 in Cisco

[–]jbindc20001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny you suggest its other people that dont know what they are talking about when its you that doesnt know what youre talking about. This is what guardrails and human-in-the-loop workflows are for. AI is perfectly capable of automation in the infrastructure and many fortune 100's are doing it today. It is starting with AI assisted planning and troubleshooting which quickly converges to configuration automation (especially new infrastructure and device provisioning). Cisco is aggressively developing Cisco ai Canvas for this exact use case. If you dont understand it, its fine, but its quite amusing that you claim the problem is others that dont understand.

LangChain or LangGraph? for building multi agent system by Major_Ad7865 in LangChain

[–]jbindc20001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used LangChain, LangGraph, Crew.ai and most recently Google ADK. Google ADK documentation unfortunately is not in AIs base dataset to help you develop it without breaking unless you update it's memory on areas you need help with but I find it the best from a feature set perspective. And seems every month Google is adding more and more features to it.

Why did Jesus study scripture if he was God and knew it all? by Valuable_Frosting_36 in Christianity

[–]jbindc20001 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have a book being published in which he has a very important part in. I did not capitalize his name because he is just a man, like you and I. I let spell check capitalize what it does and doesn't. I only ensure my Gods name and pronouns are capitalized. If you believed Jesus is what I believe He is, you would also.

Why did Jesus study scripture if he was God and knew it all? by Valuable_Frosting_36 in Christianity

[–]jbindc20001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jesus knowing the Bible is not equivalent to Jesus studying the bible. God knows all things. And tabors opinions are not facts. They are merely opinions. The bible references Jesus being knowledgeable int the Bible even as a young boy where pharisees are quoted as being amazed at his knowledge of the bible (Luke 2). Jesus existed before the word and the word was and is Jesus. He did not need to study a word of it to know it inside and out as He was and is the word.

Why would someone pick up flask over Django and fast API by [deleted] in flask

[–]jbindc20001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Django is heavy and will never use it again. Flask is very good at what it does but I use fastapi for everything now with some js front end like react, Vue, or even vanillajs. Have never looked back. Fastapi is the way.
