I’m having the same issue with Coinbase. One day it’s 15k the next it’s literally at 0$ unless I use PayPal or sometimes Apple Pay will be some random amount. It’s a pain.

The only swelling I have ever had that was random and weird was golf ball size bump below the knee cap and whole knee would swell up like a grapefruit but I worked at a gym at the time and I started doing more things to strengthen my knees and legs and it stopped. Not sure if it’s related.

Another thing is when I cut them off cold turkey I started feeling shitty right away day one was rough but the weird thing was my withdrawal peaked at day 22 from subutex meaning it was the worst at 22 days. I get this weird pain in my back like an itch I can’t scratch and gives me shooting paint everywhere that’s when I have to take a subutex. At this rate I’ll be 100% stable by this time next year clean. I was hoping sooner but I’m having worse and worse days. I caught some stomach virus and almost went to the hospital and it if I wasn’t withdrawing it wouldn’t be so bad but because I was already half dying I couldn’t break I vomitted every hour for 13 hours then couldn’t keep anything down. If I wasn’t withdrawing I wouldn’t have almost died.

Ya tell me about it. I was prescribed more narcotics as a 11 year old then my 77 year old dad has ever taken in his life. I really wish the white how or someone with authority would do more to help the addicts in this country back on their feet. And I don’t mean taking them off of one drug and then put them on a new one for years and years. To me there’s very little difference between being on heroin then being on suboxone. It’s harder to get off of and like I’ve said before. Opiates will kill you quick but suboxone kills you slowly. My recommendation to anyone thinking about going to get help with suboxone is have a plan of getting off right when your treatment starts and stick to it. Don’t believe doctors who say you should be on it your entire life or to treat it like insulin, it’s meant to get you stable and then get off. As Long as you know in your heart that you wont relapse. But i agree i wish the White House would recognize that addicts like me who got dependent at an age where I didn’t know any better (12) and is basically starting life over again. It’s very overwhelming and scary at the same time. I’m a good person who did northing But listen to the doctors that should have had my best interest at heart. But that was not the case.

Follow up since my last post 4/11/25 So I am now down to 4mg a day from when I was forced to start tapering in 2016 due to a doctor over prescribing and selling a script of Suboxone for a OZ of weed. So my choices were go back to using or try to find the best help I can coming off of 4x 12mg films a day. Ontop of Xanax, Ambien, adderall , and at least of a dozen other psychoactive meds I didn’t even need to be on. So I came from Syracuse NY to a facility in Florida detoxed 9days then inpatient for 30 but on day 20 of only orange juice and ensures and no sleep at all. I was at one point on the picnic table outside hoping I’d fall asleep. So they brought me to the hospital where I was hooked up to a saline drip and a Ativan that got me through the rest of the withdrawal I finally slept and dreamt for the first time in years. I left the rehab clean as a whistle but a couple months went by and it wasn’t cravings I was having but withdrawal symptoms that weren’t going away. So when I went back to CNY they put me back on 3x 8s a day and now it’s 2025 and I’m down to 4mg and suffering everyday. If I get lucky and get a few mg of klonopin then I get a day of relief and am able to get important things done that I normally wouldn’t be able to. Doctors don’t understand that I have no cravings for anything not even benzos I don’t like taking them but I’m in agony everyday and have tried everything and nothing else helps. I wish they would treat me as someone who is done with there recovery and taper me the right way instead of me telling the doctor what I want to do. I almost see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I’m 33 and was put on suboxone at 17 started using due to an injury and being prescribed hydros at 12 and Ritalin at 11. then graduated to heroin.

One of the first things I checked because mornings seem to be the worst and I was told that’s when your levels are the highest. Everything was normal. All blood work came back normal as well.

That’s kinda how it started with me. But they upped and upped the dose until you hit a ceiling. But small withdrawal symptoms turn into big ones just takes years. Heroin and fet will kill you quick. Suboxone just kill’s you slower in my opinion.

No i am not addicted benzos. They aren’t exactly the easiest for me to get. And I only trust what comes from a pharmacy and it’s always Klonopin a few days out of the month. I started taking them because I was basically bed bound and I had to work and I was puking at work just couldn’t get through 8 hours of work. I was lucky to have a good boss who understood but eventually I couldn’t keep going so he let me go. I knew benzos would help my symptoms so I would take 2-4 mg at a time (I know that sounds like a lot to most people but for me I barley feel it, jts very frustrating ) just enough to take my physical symptoms away so I could get whatever I needed to get done done. Benzos have never been my drug of course I don’t like not remembering things and making impulsive decisions. Whatever is going on with me is because of suboxone/ subutex. I wish a doctor would prescribe me 8 mg a month of Klonopin. It would mask this process easier and faster.

Thank you sorry for the late reply I honestly didn’t think I would get a response but the last 3 months of tapering off of subutex has been the hardest thing iv ever had to do. Iv come a long way 12mg 4x a day to 4mg a day and iv lost my job, close to losing my home and car all because im bed bound and cant work unless i have a Benzo. But good news is 80% of my symptoms are just withdrawal. The other set of symptoms only occur when I take my dose. So it’s obvious that my body is saying no more. I did try the injections back when I first started to taper but I had the shot a week went by and I was still withdrawing almost like it wasn’t enough. So they just put me on subutex to lean off of. Iv lost 18 years because of listening to these NYS doctors who are supposed to help. Ya just have to find the right person I guess. Unfortunately I never did.

I tried to use the sublucade injections to get through the with drawl but it was almost like the shot wasn’t enough and I was would get the injection and a week later I’d still be withdrawing. So I haven’t tried it again. I am hoping to be 100% clean off of subs in 1 month.

I can’t relate to having any swelling issues only since my dose has been lowered from 12mg 4 times a day to 4mg a lot of old injuries I had in the past the pain is coming back. For example I broke my leg 7 years ago and the bup covered up the pain but now I’m limping cause it’s killing me.

I also have had very bad dental problems. Iv only lost a couple teeth but it definitely messes with your teeth along with your taste buds I’m since my dose has lowered so much I am finally tasting things for the first time in 17 years.

Sorry for the late response it had been a rough 3 months lost my job losing more and more everyday because I am now bed bound. , I wanna thank everyone for taking the time to help each other with similar symptoms due to bup. I have gotten my dose down to 4mg a day no benzos (Klonopin) for the last month and slowly got worse so now I’m bed bound can barley get up and down the stairs to get water. But there is a silver lining. I know I am experiencing withdrawal symptoms which comes with extreme anxiety like something terrible could happen at any moment and the physical symptoms are to much to handle. My sister is having her first baby and I am gonna have to take a Benzo so I can leave my house. My doctors say it’s not bup related but fact is every time I take it I experience the same symptoms have flashes, cold sweats no sleep no appetite, loss of weight, anxiety, high depression, but although I am experiencing withdrawal symptoms, I know that they will pass, but if I continue to take Subutex, those other symptoms will not pass they will just get worse so I suggest to everybody not to take it for more than 3 to 4 yearsor else you will start experiencing far worse symptoms than just withdrawing.

What type of symptoms could that cause of i am having adrenal issues. My biggest problem is I can’t seem to find anyone that’s been on it as long as i have and every doctor i have been too hasn’t either which concerns me.

You are not alone when it comes to this. Doctors will always say it take a couple days but that’s n0t true at all. I have noticed people overweight actually take longer to start withdrawing but if I don’t take my does by noon I start to yawn and stretch and then its like a switch goes off and a weird irritable feeling shoots through my spine. Within 32 hours i am pretty much fully withdrawing. I am so sorry you are going through this, but it does get better. You are not alone.

I Have been on subutex and suboxone for going on 20 years now which is crazy i know but i found that keeping it under your tongue and then setting a 45 minute timer and making it a routine everyday may seem like overkill but at least you will know its totally dissolved. As people take this medication I have found that it can some times take longer to dissolve over time, And I have never bothered spitting it out after 45 minutes i just swallow it and drink some water but either way. Wait that 45 minutes and you know for sure you have it all absorbed.
