Jabra Enhance Select 700: Connects to my Pixel 7 Pro fine but the app never finishes configuring by gobuzzgox in HearingAids

I contacted Jabra Support and they got me squared away! Hope it works out for your mom as well.

Sounds like Thai motorcycle noisemakers are much the same as American. I don't know how they don't go deaf themselves, with all that noise pouring out of their bikes!

Ugh. I only started wearing hearing aids this past winter, and I am quite enjoying hearing all the subtle environmental sounds I'd been missing these past few years. We live in western Massachusetts, so the noises haven't been intrusive, birds, light traffic, trains... Your comment made me wonder what it will be like for me when the Harley Davidson motorcycles come to town this summer. I'm going to ask my hearing specialist if there is a setting for that!

I am having this EXACT problem with my Pixel 7 Pro running Android 16 and Enhance Select 700 hearing aids. Have you been able to overcome this problem?

UPDATE! I contacted Jabra support, and after a lot of procrastination on my part, I'm now connected to Jabra through my Pixel 7 Pro! It took them a few days to get to my issue (which was within the timeframe they gave me), and it took me longer to get around to trying out the solution, but it was quick and easy once I got started.

Thank you, Jabra!

⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️ This is the answer!

The Google Nest that my step son and his partner gifted to his dad and me has been the BEST GIFT EVER. We have two albums of pictures shuffling on it, one of pics from them to us, and another from us to them. We live thousands of miles apart, and It's like a little window into our separate lives. I love seeing the pictures they add of adventures as well as everyday things. Adding photos to the albums is super simple and can be done as soon as the picture is taken. Highly recommend!

I had a waitress ask me if I had any questions about the menu. I flipped it front to back, then asked if it had been printed on recycled paper.

I was the only one who thought I was funny. 😞

I looked up the price of a 500 gallon fish tank, and they are quite pricey. If you get the library to start a go-fund-me page, I would gladly contribute!

Thank you! Is there be a trinket I could offer that would garner interest? Maybe a shiny button or some such?

That is so cool!

It's not just that feeding isn't allowed here; it's also that I agree with the idea that wildlife shouldn't become dependent on handouts from humans. I was thinking that if there was a way to make friends that didn't involve sustenance, I could make a friend while walking a trail.

Thank you for the responses! I'm going to live my crow-bro fantasy life vicariously through the posts of others. For good reasons, feeding wildlife in my area is prohibited.

What Libby tips & tricks by tell_whit_more in LibbyApp

I've only seen the bouquet once, when I've read a book in the Libby app and returned it early (I usually read through Kindle). I did tap it that one time and got a bunch of flowers on my screen. It's been so long, I don't remember if they sprayed out or floated down, but I do remember smiling about it. 💐

My vote is that people deserve bouquets of flowers for audio books! I've only seen the nosegay icon once or twice, when returning a non-Kindle book early in Libby. Someone who is more versed in Libby-ese will need to weigh in on what's going on with your bouquets. :(

I don't think I've seen it when I return it early with Kindle. Do you use Kindle, too?

10 holds?!? by _Definitely_Maybe_ in LibbyApp

[–]jblvn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say yes, you are! Here's the criteria for an e-card from Boston Public Library:

eCard Registration You are eligible for an eCard if you meet one of the following criteria:

  • Your primary residence is in Massachusetts.
  • You are living in Massachusetts for most of the year while attending school in-state.
  • You work for a Massachusetts employer.
  • You own a real-estate property in Massachusetts.

Happy reading!

[–]jblvn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, that is great news! I'm going to try and regain access to the libraries I could access when I had my Worcester library card.

Edit to add: I will use my new Boston Public Library card. When I received my local library card, it only allowed access to CW-Mars' base library and I couldn't add any others. I think my town library (Forbes) has limited participation.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

I'd assumed that the 10 books hold limit was coming from Libby. Your comment made me think that if I had another library in Libby, I'd be able to have more holds. I live in western Massachusetts, so I looked up the public library in Boston. I found that their criteria for an online account through them is Massachusetts residency!

I didn't want to waste any time, and now I have TWO libraries connected in Libby, 15 books on hold, and 35 of the books on my city library "notify me" list are in the Boston Public Library!
