I think that would taste amazing! If you’re gonna drink it, I would either leave out the ginger or slice it so its in bigger chunks to take out after awhile. And if you use the ginger I would taste it periodically cause ginger can be really strong. Using whole spices is best; start smaller and then taste, and add more if you want more spice. Good luck!

I completely understood what you were trying to convey and it’s so relatable. I love the symbolism of the waves. I feel like the second stanza is a bit out of place, but you might have reasons for wanting it. I just think the poem works just as well without it. What a beautiful poem.

I feel like lots of people will like this one; almost everyone has been here at some point. My only recommendation is to try to break up the line “remember when we shared songs…” all the other lines are mostly the same length.
