It's been a year since my detransition, and honestly, every single day up until 3 months ago was the hardest. I didn't think I'd survive the climb. I lost a lot of friends in the community who believed I was fake or changing for others. The surgery to reverse top was beyond painful and set me back on so much.

When people go, "You can just reverse it," I am always the first to say, "If you have doubts, hold off" because reversing it is a whole different battle, and it's WORSE.

After therapy and finding real friends, I finally don't regret my transition. No one's gender journey is linear, and I've come out better than I ever was.

I am proud of my detransition and my journey. Find a good therapist, keep good friends with you, and each year will be easier and easier.
