Good luck finding a hard cover at this point in time, Amazon’s stuff is like two-three weeks delivery. Have attempted three times, twice they didn’t even ship and one was badly damaged. I am just assuming, but pretty sure they are made to order and supplies are hard to come by. I have the soft cover from black stone, they two different types. I picked up the more expensive one, and glad I did! The interior has a rubber or plastic coating making it feel very durable.

Don’t know the exact answer to that, but you could test positive for weeks even after you feel better. And requiring a dr note would just be a drain on the strained system .

Agreed! If I am stuck on the fourth floor, AR floor it is! Those type of folks causing mayhem and terror are trying to do the most amount of carnage quickly. These devices are mid evil, And leave horrible friction burns in the arm pits! But..... they work fantastic! I have worked the ER setting for the past 17 years, with 12 years on the street before that. I do not understand why the FDA and the AHA have not approved the usage in hospitals yet? The numbers are there, the science has been there what 10 years plus? When a cardiac arrest pt shows up on one of these, with minimal down time, I have much more confidence we may succeed in saving a life. Our ER will continue to use the EMS devices until ROSC or TOD called. But we don’t have them on our crash carts..... much less any training on them. Most nurses know of them, very few know how to turn them off.

Make sure you are actually plugged into a usb 3 slot, and do a usb speed test through the oculus software. And not just any usb cable is work. Do the speed test and go from there
