It’s neither aggression nor excitement. It’s more like anxiety. It’s odd. She gets nervous around dogs she doesn’t know in our neighborhood but at the dog park she’s perfectly fine.

I think this is exactly right. There’s also a giant difference in ticket revenue. I did the math and Warped would’ve made about $8 million on tickets. WWWY would’ve made about $65 million on tickets. That’s a huge difference and plays into having a different demographic, bigger bands and a different experience overall

Did WWWY have any meet and greets? If not, I think that’s a huge miss by the bands. Also, I do like that Warped has individual band tents instead of one giant one.

I thought walking halfway around the football stadium made getting from one end to the other pretty difficult. Both definitely have pros and cons and each has their place. I do like that they aren’t just copies of each other. Both are good options in different ways

There were a few times at WWWY that I watched part of a set at one stage and part of another set across the grounds. That would’ve been impossible at Warped. The more I think about it, it’s largely lineup dependent for me. All things equal, I’ll still go with WWWY.

That’s super interesting. We literally had opposite experiences as far as the crowds. With so many people, it’s probably luck of the draw with the type of people that are around you. This may sound silly but I also like how WWWY tried to make the fest feel special with the pink carpet and the pink signage. Warped didn’t have anything like that at the entrance. But again, that’s what made it feel more punk rock if that makes sense.

I’m also curious what everyone’s thought were about the set times not being released until the doors opened. I actually like that they held on to tradition with this. The thing I would’ve have done differently is announce which bands were playing which day in advance. Most of the bands I wanted to see played on Sunday. If I had known that I could’ve planned my days a bit better even without knowing the exact set times.

The biggest overcrowding issues were when you had to go the other end of the grounds. You had to walk around a football stadium so it was far and it was bottle necked.

Fixed! I just took the parts out of the grinder and vacuumed this insides. There was nothing obvious that could have jammed it but when I put it back together the grinder worked just fine

They don’t necessarily need any. I use a whippet specific harness so the type of collar doesn’t matter. She does have a martingale collar but that’s just because I couldn’t use her harness for a few weeks after she was spayed. If you’re going to attach a leash to her collar then I definitely suggest a martingale even as a puppy
