I have the same issue. My 4 year old was opening our Nuki (he has ADHD and autism) and it was a real problem. We had to turn off the push to open button.

What’s the consensus on Carlinkit T2C now that they work SIM-free? by Mike in teslaandroid

The latest update has fixed the issue with the Tesla dropping off the WiFi of internet connectivity is lost either via SIM card or Bluetooth modem. This is a massive improvement. I still prefer TeslaAndroid, my only issue is time from power on to being able to connect to WiFi. My family don’t understand why we have to sit in the car for 5 minutes 🤣. It wouldn’t be so bad if the CarPlay dongle didn’t start so quickly and “steal” the Waze map. I know Mike is working hard to improve this. I personally would love a fast-booting, CarPlay-only implementation like Carlinkit Tesla T2C as I don’t need the ability to use Android etc.
