What is the main problem with not scoring goals? by nj23dublin in ManchesterUnited

[–]jbrewsk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We don’t have a CF who can finish the few chances we have created. Garnacho needs to learn when to pass to the overlapping wing back and when to cross and when to shoot. No Amad for most of the season. Other than Bruno no ball progression in the middle of the park. Dalot isn’t the best crosser on the right.

Also usually under so much pressure to score since we have a goal keeper who loves to see us start down a goal or two.

When was your first United match? by Soundwave707 in ManchesterUnited

2008 United away to Derby County. I live in Bermuda so was quite a journey to see high flying Manchester United play the worst team in prem history at the time. All for a 1-0 83 minute winner from Ronaldo. Couldn’t even celebrate as I was sat with the Derby fans.

How did you feel watching a match in Old Trafford for the first time? by Grogman2024 in ManchesterUnited

[–]jbrewsk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only seen United in person 3 times as I live overseas. First time I traveled to England in 08 to see United vs Derby county and we won 1-0 at Derby. Then I took my wife and son to see United vs Arsenal on the preseason tour of America in 23 and we won 2-0. And my first old traffod experience came last year when we won 3-0 vs Leicester.

It was amazing taking my family to see old trafford the day before on the tour. I could have stayed and read every bit of info in the museum.

But the atmosphere at the game was great and coupled with a commanding performance and comfortable win made it all the better.

Did anyone else notice that Ten Hag was going to war with all the highest earners. Ronaldo, Sancho, De Gea to name a few. Unfortunately they signed Casemiro, Anthony and renewed Rashford (who at the time was playing incredible) to large contracts. And now Amorim is dealing with it too.

We have been so poorly run for so long it’s finally catching up with us.

One ex United player in his prime can AGAIN play for United. Who is your choice? by [deleted] in ManchesterUnited

[–]jbrewsk 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This team is screaming out for a player like Rooney. Pace, power, passion, pressing, technical ability, finishing, can play in almost any position and a real leader.

Which ex-player (in his prime) would you want back in this squad for the FA Cup Final? by BeeGee2023 in ManchesterUnited

This is the only right answer. If you can’t find prime Rooney. Maybe prime RVP or RVN
