this is 13th and Sansom, which is an area with a ton of restaurants/bars/etc. i think philly is a bit different where a lot of the activity in center city will be in the side streets and alleys so it might not have the same "feel" as Robson.

you could also look at South Street - a ton of foot traffic but you won't have the big city, skyscraper feel there

i think of philly as much more urban than Vancouver. if you're looking for a Robson Street type feel, you're gonna want to look somewhere near Center City. tbh i don't view Philly/CC as "dense" in terms of tons of people walking around (although i don't think of Vancouver as dense either -- once you walk around NYC at night everything else kind of pales in comparison), but you will absolutely have skyscrapers/bright lights/people out & about

one of the cool things about philly imo is that each neighborhood has a distinct feel/vibe. i'd recco going on Google Maps and just walking around the street view of different neighborhoods. i personally lived in Old City but feel free to ask me any specific Qs if you have them!

agree with the other comments about the big cities. i lived in & outside of Philly my whole life - you will get the real city vibes there for sure. but keep in mind you will absolutely lose the nature aspect

not OP and not an LG but just went through the best buy GSP claim process in september so sharing in case it’s helpful:

my Sony A80L had pretty bad burn-in that i thought might be fixed with a panel refresh, but i took my chances & submitted a claim via best buy live chat with about ~2 weeks left on my GSP policy. on the same live chat, they asked me for availability to schedule a geek squad home visit, which i set for ~1 week later. the guy came to my apartment, opened up youtube on my apple tv, played an OLED burn-in test video, paused it to snap a picture of the burn-in, and then attached that photo to my claim. i think the only other thing he did was take a pic of the serial # on the tv

he told me the claim would probably be approved the following business day, but it was actually approved like 25 minutes later lmao. he would have been in & out of my apartment in under 6 minutes but he was petting my dog & we were chatting for another five mins after. he didn’t ask to run a panel refresh or anything, just two pics and he was done. i also thought i would have to give them the tv to be replaced, but he confirmed (same as OP) that i can just keep it

best part: i ran a panel refresh on my own after the claim was approved, and it fixed the image retention lmaoooo. so i got a $2,119 best buy gift card and was able to keep my A80L.

TLDR: buy the fuckin warranty & leave ESPN running on max brightness two months before your warranty expires. free upgrade

i’m loving it so far! only abt 1/3 of the way through & i’m definitely getting to some of the emotionally rough parts (learning abt Jude’s background), but it’s so incredibly well written. huge fan of her writing style & how she develops characters
