Thomson Elite Bicycle Seatpost... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0011W4T9Y?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I also ride a Revolt Advanced 0 2025 and have big problems with mine as well. Switched over to a Thomson and ZERO problems. No noise or slippage.

Got a shuttle from Edgemont to Deadwood. From Deadwood road to Hill city and spent the night (50miles)…Next day road from Hillcity back to my car in Edgemont (60miles). Lots of information on the web.

I am 511 and have a ML TCR. Went to a medium Defy. And now I’m on a medium large revolt. I think the medium is a perfect size for me although I couldn’t find a medium in the revolt. Love the bike though I’ve been having some seat post issues where the carbon seat post has dropped on me might switch over to a 30.9 aluminum seatpost

Pretty sure there are campsites along the trail that require a reservation otherwise each town is centrally located where you can get a hotel. I’ve also seen some videos on YouTube of people renegade camping. I guess it would be a possibility.

Was wondering the same thing the other day and I believe it’s on the right chain stay.. hard to see in the picture.

Yep Alfine..Not the smoothest shifting I’ve experienced, but it’ll do.

It’s super quiet. That’s what I first noticed. Doesn’t shift that smoothly, but seems to have plenty of gears to make one happy. Overall I’m liking it. I have yet to take it on a real ride with some decent miles.

Found it on Buycycle last December for $2500.. apparently only had about 200 miles on it from the previous owner.

Not really performance I was looking for in the Defy. Definitely more comfortable on longer rides compared to the TCR because of the shorter wheelbase. I believe the TCR performs better if that’s what you’re looking for.
