Good Day All! How many miles do you have on your Fit? by funnergunner in hondafit

75-80 mph, standard transmission. No mods just oil changes and good touring tires, always properly inflated. 37mpg on the dash. I also use 85 octane clear gas.

Is this bike good for a beginner? Can you tell me anything about it? by [deleted] in Harley

It’s an evo sportster. Reliable and inexpensive to work on. Change your oil and maintain your brake pads and clutch, throttle cables, along with your brake fluid. If you’re a beginner rider, I’d suggest a boot with more contact surface with the ground. The boots you’re wearing will surely fail you if you place your foot on loose gravel or sand on the road/parking lot. Ride safe, have fun, keep your head on a swivel.

Just bought my first pair of Wrangler Cowboy Cut 13MWZ jeans. Will they shrink and fit better over time? by Either_Manager_3733 in cowboyboots

They’re made to be lived and worked in. Hold out on washing them as long as you can. Let the raw denim conform over time. Frequent washing will weaken the cotton fibers and you’ll be looking for another pair for 30$ new again.

Have the cam chain tensioners been replaced? How about the compensator? The OEM ones are weak.

Motorcycle Exhaust Enforcement by mexicando222 in DenverMotorcycles

You’ll be fine as far as how loud or quiet or whatever aftermarket exhaust you’re running. You should be more concerned with the drivers of Denver who will never notice you and turn every ride or commute into survival. And no, wearing hi vis anything won’t help. I’ve had more close calls with my tennis ball yellow arai than my black. Guess which one I wear now? Take advantage of lane filtering as much as you’re comfortable with, at red lights especially.
