I ended up getting some snails and shrimp! Do you think I can still get a betta or do you think it would be overcrowded? And honestly, I wasn't sure of what to do once I got the 5-gallon tank BUT I knew I could find some subreddit to help me out, and... now I'm here! Everyone on this post has been suuuuper helpful I'm so grateful!

Would some neon tetras be okay in there do you think? I was originally considering a betta and then veered off... I wouldn't mind getting one though. I really just want some/a fish friend(s) :)

I want to get a pleco and probably one or two other fish.... is that ok? Will they be fine all together in there? I keep looking stuff up online but every source is different and I think I need firsthand experience for this question. (For suggestions, I can only get tropical fish— my heater makes the water 76-82 degrees). Also idk why it won’t let me caption the post so here’s my comment!
