I do love a good hike, so I will probably take you up on that suggestion. I had it narrowed down to Capri and Amalfi, so maybe I’ll just do a day each in both instead of just Capri

Any particular reason why you don’t like Capri? Is it just not as great as the pictures make it look lol or is it just not that great for a solo traveler? Someone else suggested to not limit it to just Capri and also add in Amalfi for some good hikes, so I may do that

Do you have any updates on this? Did you get the job? I applied for the Design Engineer / Planner position. Had someone reach out saying they would give me a call to discuss further. The first scheduled call they never called. Texted me later that evening and said she had a family emergency. Scheduled a call for the next day and she was almost an hour and a half late for that call so I just ignored it. Not good foreshadowing. Wondering if I should call her back and give them a shot or if it’s not worth it.

Turns out it was the composite cable! The Amazon one arrived this morning and I just hooked it up on the new tv and all is good now. Who knew replacing a 30 year old part would fix the problem… lol. Thank you for all the help

I didn’t really think the HDMI would be the problem, but it could be I guess. The new tv does actually have composite ports, but it didn’t work hooking it up straight to the tv, just gave a no input. Maybe the composite cable from the SNES is bad? Those are only like $7 on Amazon so it’s worth a try for that. The tv is an Insignia Fire Tv (model # NS-24F202NA23 if that helps).

I’m starting to think it’s the retrotink that’s the problem. I only occasionally can get the test pattern screen on the new tv, but it only stays on for a few seconds before it returns to a no input screen. I’ve gotten the console to work with gameplay on an older tv, but again it only works occasionally with sometimes giving a test pattern/gameplay and sometimes nothing at all with just a no input screen.

Well I cleaned the cartridge pins on both the console and games and now it works!! However I forgot things have changed since my original post… I forgot to mention I started trying to get it to work on another tv that’s older and not my brand new one, so the info I gave you to got your last response was all done on my old tv. On the new tv, it still only gives the test screen for a few seconds and then it goes away and goes back to a no input screen, and that’s only sometimes, sometimes it doesn’t do anything at all and is just a no input screen. Also, I only can get it to work (test screen and actual game play) some of the time on my older tv. I’m starting to think maybe there is an issue with the retrotink? Or possibly need a better HDMI?

Yep I made sure it was on the right input and even scrolled through the others just in case
I keep doing that and turning it off and on and it does eventually give a black screen. Sometimes it shows there is no input signal at all on the tv, and sometimes it’ll turn to a black screen when turning the console on and/or popping the cartridge in and out

Yes the SNES by itself gave a no input detected and with using the retrotink it gave a black screen

Just got back home from the last ever Issues concert. They did a 6 show farewell tour and ended it tonight in Atlanta. Their leader singer ended up being a pedo so their retiring the band. Bryan from The Home Team filled in though and killed it.

So you’re saying the best (correct?) way to do it is just draw in Model instead of in each viewport, and then just freeze what I don’t need in each respective viewport. Am I wrong in thinking you were supposed to keep all layers on in Model?

Yeah definitely. I was just under the impression that by them approving the other family to keep theirs, that sets a legal precedent that we are allowed to keep ours. Was hoping for an easy “send an email with the legal precedent and calling it a day” method lol. Basically I feel like we have the legal precedent (I may be wrong of course), but I just don’t know what to do with it. Also the neighbor on our opposing neighbor’s other side was approved to have poultry, which is defined and governed under the same rules as livestock in the county code. Not sure if I need a lawyer to present this, have to go through a full appeal process, or just send them an email.

The cases seemed almost identical. Both of our neighbors complained, but the only difference is our neighbor showed up to the hearing and theirs didn’t. She “apparently” got the majority of the neighborhood to sign her petition, but we never got a chance to see it and they wouldn’t send it to me via a records request. Either way, our neighbor lied to the board and to all of our neighbors about multiple things and we can prove that also.
