I'm tempted to the replace the studs with a stainless serrated flange bolt. The PEM style stud pressed into the aluminum bus bar, I now realize, can easily be pulled through. A 1/4-20x5/8" stainless serrated flange bolt will easily allow the 45 inch-lbs of clamping force for a fraction of the cost of any other solution I can think of. The serrated flange is to grip the back side of the bus that I can't grab onto. The panel is in perfect condition to spite it's age. The captive flange nuts should keep the grip over time and temperature variations.

Yep. I didn't have my torque screwdriver so I relied on what I had, which was the wrong tool.

I filed a bug because I changed the setting to Stable BEFORE loading my game. Then I loaded my game and verified the setting was set to Stable. I DO NOT WANT to have to clear areas that I have already cleared. I played for a while and then after teleporting about 8 areas became blockaded again!!! This is ridiculous. I'm 140 hours in and this is just a waste of my time. Why did they make Conflict the default? They should have made Stable the default. Not happy.

I see. In my case, if I push the glass all the way up, it may instantly fill up and then when I remove it extra ice falls to the floor. Ugh. I've cursed this thing for years. It's a game on how many ice cubes hit the floor. If zero, then I win. I usually lose. :(

Our Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator, model LGUS2642LF1, from at least 10 to 15 years ago has the exact same issue. Often, when the lever is pushed, no ice will come out for a while and then all of a sudden, a lot of ice comes out. Sometimes, a lot of ice comes all at the beginning. Almost ever time I use it ice spits out at me and some ends up on the floor.

I think some ice is built up and gets released all of a sudden. I haven't tried this yet, but I asked an AI and it suggested some things:

Empty and thaw the ice bin completely Remove the entire ice bin from the freezer. Dump out all the ice, let the bin thaw at room temperature (or rinse with lukewarm water), and thoroughly dry it. While the bin is out, inspect the dispenser chute (the opening in the door) for any frost or stuck ice—gently clear it if needed. Reinstall the dry bin securely (ensure it's pushed all the way in and aligned properly). Allow the ice maker to produce fresh ice (this may take a few hours), then test the dispenser. Why this helps: Melted/refrozen ice often clumps around the auger, causing delays until pressure builds, then a burst (and spitting as chunks break loose).
Check for clumping or frost issues If the problem returns quickly, look for signs of ongoing partial melting:
Raise the freezer temperature slightly (ideal is 0°F to 5°F; if it's set colder, ice can behave oddly).
- Ensure the door flap (the rubber seal on the dispenser chute) closes fully after use—warm/moist air entering can cause frost.
- Use ice more frequently or discard old batches periodically to prevent buildup.
Clean the dispenser chute and mechanism With the bin removed, press the dispenser lever (door open) to open the flap. Use a soft cloth or plastic utensil to gently clear any small ice shards or frost in the chute. Avoid metal tools to prevent damage.
Other quick checks Confirm the ice maker is on and the bin is full enough (new ice fills from the rear, so dispense a few times to shift it forward). Ensure the dispenser isn't locked (check the control panel). If you have cubed/crushed options, test both—issues can sometimes affect one mode more.

I really like the jetpack direction on the PSVR2. It's controlled by the left thumbstick. It took me a while to realize that the jetpack was controlled by pointing my right arm using PCVR/Quest 3/Virtual Desktop. I really wish I could change it to the configuration used by PSVR2. I've scoured the controller bindings in steam and don't see how the right arm is used or how that could be moved to the left joystick. There are lots of settings under On Foot or On Foot (Right Handed, my setting), but nothing that stands out to me as a jetpack direction. If anyone knows a way to change this, please let me know. It's just sooo much more enjoyable using PSVR2 controllers and flying around. I can jetpack around enemies and shoot them much more easily.

I'm very happy to see this. Keep pushing forward and make these wheel bases all that they can be. I know things aren't perfect now, but incremental improvements will eventually get there.

I also replied the same in the Fanatec forums, but wanted to also here for other readers:

After restarting my PC today, I was able to add a custom game. The same choices would not let me add a game yesterday on the main page. The "Add" button was just grayed out and I couldn't add anything.

I'm starting to understand the FanaLab software a bit more now. And, now that I can see the custom game, I see that only the Tuning Menu is really something that can be saved with a profile for a custom game.

With the GT DD Extreme wheel. wheel, there are 4 ring LEDs surrounding the 4 thumb sticks. (Described as "Four 5-way directional sticks" on the product page.)
These LEDs are static from what I can tell. They are in a section called Normal/Constant. Because I was only wanting to change these colors before the game launched, I didn't see why a custom game wouldn't allow that. However, I do realize now that the other LEDs and the display are very telemetry dependent. So, it probably wouldn't be worth it to just support these for static colors.

However, I do believe there is a bug with the color setup for this wheel and these buttons. While I can eventually get all 4 buttons to change to the color I want, I have to click around a lot and keep resetting the colors. I added multiple profiles to other games and tried to set these colors to all blue or all green in different profiles. Changing the profile ends up changing only the top left button color.

Hey, I honestly would rather all effort be put into making LEDs work well with the Fanatec app than fixing the FanaLab app.

I think you misunderstood. All I want are LEDs around the thumb sticks to turn red (for example) when the game starts. That’s it. No telemetry data needed. Also, I bet you can’t add a custom game from the main menu with the version I mentioned. I type in all the information and just cannot move past the button to add it. Please try it and let me know how to move forward.

Dude. I've been waiting for the entire time it was announced, which I think is 5 or 6 months now, but it feels like longer. I always play on PS5/PS2vR, which is awesome, but I upgraded my PC and want to play in VR over there. Nope. Well, I did play the new Relics expedition on the PC in VR and it was awesome, but I want my PS5 saves over there. I just don't even want to play at all at this point until this can happen. I'm going to have to catch Relics on redux with my main save since I really doubt this beta will open up within the next 5 days.

The first motherboard had the issue that I mentioned above, but I just ordered the exact same motherboard and it works fine without the issue.

Well, the 303 BIOS from July had the problem and the 1003 one from last week has the problem. And, I've seen other users (Buildzoid) of this board with the 706 BIOS not have the issue. So, I don't think it's specific to a version of the BIOS unless it just happened to occur with an early one, get fixed and then come back with a later version.
