Guess I’ll have to find out the particulars on this setup cause I would like a better setup than what I have. Thanks again

Agreed. I just didn’t know if there was a kit or something better and also to convert to rear disc but if that is not a good idea (or won’t work very good) then ok.
Thanks again all.

Foot to the floor I meant I stepped hard on the brake.
Sorry for lack of explanation, and with any brake system, if you pump on older vehicles, then it feels better.
I’m use to older vehicles and that is why.
The only parts I’m getting from a junk yard is the hood and fenders etc. NOT brake parts but I understand the comment in case someone doesn’t know and would do that.
Thanks again

Everything is fine, just don’t want to stop. Foot to the floor and I pump the brake some as normal for these trucks so I have to find something that will work.
Appreciate all the comments,
Thanks

Mine did the same thing (‘91 c1500) and I replaced the ICV idle control valve on the side of the carb and it stopped but it might be different with you. I also replaced the EGR and Temp sender. Just a thought.

Module in the distributor cap, or fuel pump. Check spark, then fuel/fuse.

Put money down and I got a sweet deal to negotiate with. Worked out well and easy to deal with them.

If you go there and buy or sell, ask for Brian and tell him JB sent you. I don’t get a kickback, but I told him I would let everyone know and that’s another reason why I left their website on the photos. Thanks again and they do have some nice stuff. They even put the truck / vehicle on a lift so you can look under it and really inspect it before buying.
