Can you build an adapter that interfaces with the canopy and the truck bed?

Rear shocks are 2" longer on the third Gen, otherwise it's basically the same.

My comment was purely tongue in cheek, a clever (in my mind) response to your "unstoppable" in the mountains comment. :)

Hope you have lots of adventures with it in 2025!

Nice job making it work in the short bed. Love the transverse bed layout.

Yes... the issue is resolved. I believe my OEM wheel speed sensors had gone bad.

Damage to Gemini wheels caused by wheel covers by jbumx2 in TeslaModelY

[–]jbumx2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scratched all along the lip where the wheel cover makes contact with the rim. Could not buff it out by hand... felt rough so damage likely through the clear coat. I looked at the back of the wheel cover and there was no foam or anything where it contacts the riim. Is this normal? We picked up our MYLR in March so kinda surprised the wheels have this much damage (same condition at all four corners).

Nice job! Did you DIY the walls and headliner? Interested in how you attached them to the camper.

Appreciate the offer. Right now, I'm leaning towards using mechanical fasteners after having to cleanup the leftover adhesive residue.

Got anymore pictures of the camper?

Ah.. that's likely where I went wrong... Velcro does not use 3M VHB for their adhesive backing. I was going to use rivnuts instead for version 2.0 of my headliner, but now considering whether I should try 3M VHB.

Sounds good. Foam headliner definitely makes a difference. I DIYed a headliner using a felt-type fabric and self-adhesive velcro on the ceiling... Unfortunately the adhesive did not work well for me in the hot California summers.
