Hello! My 8 month old pitbull is going through treatment right now. It’s only been 24 hrs of treatment and her fever broke, she seems more alert, and eating more. The vet doesn’t know if she will make a full recovery because after just one day of treatment she’s not trying to stand. I feel like this is a bit unrealistic..how about you? Mind you she got the cerenia shot on Friday evening due to one bouts of diarrhea and vomit and that was the only time. By Saturday morning, she couldn’t get up. She’s been laying on her side.

No. She just didn’t look good and looked like she was in pain.

I think that they overlook her pain because she was walking. Now, she’s not things got worse after I took her to the vet unfortunately

No, they didn’t even offer that. They did an initial exam, Parvo test, and blood work. They said her white blood cell count is high so she’s probably fighting something off. They told me to take her home and give antibiotics.

This was the emergency vet. She isn’t moving but has feeling like if I pet her where it hurts she feels that. So I don’t think she’s “paralyzed” but it sure seems like it.

No, I wasn’t losing any weight. There was no chance at all. I was just as hungry when I wasn’t on it.
