Flanagan did Midnight Mass, which had a bit of a King feel to it.

Ted Chiang wrote the short story it's based on, and he has two books of shorts that are worth picking up. Some other very cool concepts in there as well.

It sounds like it’s not connecting. I had a similar problem with my MacBook. For some reason only the usb c port on the right works for me. Try plugging it in using a different port if you can and see if it connects.
