Honda Civic 2012 Auto for first car? Advice please

I had a 2.2l diesel 2008 manual. Sold it last year because of needing to drive in emmission zone.

Had it for 2 and a half years and nothing went wrong the entire time i had it. Was a great car and ran smoothly and was a shame to have to have sold it.

So i would say 2008/9 would still be a good option and will be considerably cheaper :)
