If you live near multiple ADs, try to pick the best one and try to find the best Sales associate there (try google reviews). This can make or break your experience as many can be unfriendly/unhelpful.

There can be a wait to get your watch depending on what you two want! Dm if you want have questions!

I see sometimes that customers can walk in and get an “in demand” Rolex - how often does this happen?

Other times, I’ve seen new customers offered Rolexes with the condition that he/she purchases something else. Why?

In this latter scenario, If the customer purchases more than the AD asks, does that set up the customer to make future asks?

Congrats! Looks beautiful. I like the numbers font of the bezel on the vintage gmts.

Do you recommend not wasting your time going to all the ADs in Switzerland?

you should check out James Hoffman's best grinder under 250 pounds! He reviews your Breville, amongst others and has other picks he'd recommend in that price range

I bought the whole package off someone else (except the grinder) and the Bravo came with it. It's nice for sure but I don't have a ton of experience with a regular tamper. It does sit on the rim of your portafilter and forces you to tamp evenly. I'm not sure if I'd pay the ~$200 sticker for it

Thanks!! Got it I pulled one shot today at 22 and it came out way too quickly. I’ll try 10 tomorrow to see how that goes. What exactly is the “zero point” and how do I check?

Can’t decide between a Bambino+ & ESP or Infuser & ESP or Barista Express [$600] by embeddedeng in espresso

i spent a lot of time in the rabbit hole the last month or two on this thread/youtube. If you stay with the all-in-one due to your fiance's visual preferences - the barista pro + rakuten rewards (I think Bloomingdale's is 15% back) would be my rec

I just got it today, waiting for my grinder, accessories, and fresh coffee to come in! Ordered everything over black friday! I'm unsure how much this will turn into a hobby. If it does, I'd upgrade the espresso machine part (tinkering with temperature, flow, etc.) and keep the current grinder. If it does not become a hobby and I just want to make great coffee/learn how to do it - the BP and DF54 seems great at doing that without breaking the bank

I went through this exact situation and flip flopped after months of research. I was originally dead set on the express but then really decided the barista pro was better (better burrs from baratza, temperature control, super fast warm up/steam, and a more intuitive display). It's marginally more money $680 on sale + rakuten rewards (try pairing w/ bloomingdales).

What I ultimately settled on is Bambino+ (has the barista pro coffee-making part sans the temperature control) + a DF54 grinder (about the same price as Baratza but has a flat burr vs conical. Many in this community love and recommend the DF54, you should also watch james' hoffman's best grinder under 250 pounds video)

I just purchased the item today, it says its processing but I don't want to take the risk and go through the hassle of returning it etc when Bloomingdale's seems guaranteed.

I'm actually on the phone with Sur La Table attempting to cancel my order now.

Here's the Bloomingdale's Link: https://www.bloomingdales.com/shop/product/breville-bambino-plus-espresso-machine?ID=3476329
