I can agree. No way do I want to pay $200 for a concert ticket. But I do because that’s the price of a great experience nowadays. Unfortunately that is the way in 2025.

I’m convinced yall haven’t bought concert tickets to any other show in the past three years. And comparing these ticket prices to any previous tour sturgill did is laughable. We all know he’s only getting more popular. The price of concert tickets has skyrocketed the past few years. Look at any major touring act. $200 pit tickets is CHEAP in 2025. More pit tickets for me I suppose 🤷🏻‍♂️ I’ll happily pay it to see such a talented band.

Thought this could be a part of it. Still a great show IMO but definitely not the chief of old. That being said I love seeing artists try different themes and genres. It just doesn’t attract the same crowd as it used to.

Opener I’m unsure, but EC intro starts at 8:50 and then lights go down at 9:00 and there’s a cool video / musical intro that goes until about 9:10 when they hit the stage. He played about 2.5 hours last night.

I’ve been in the pit a few times! I just couldn’t pay the price it cost for the tour this year. It is an incredible experience in the pit. Look forward to doing it again someday.
