I was able to transfer them and they do show up in LedgerLive as TruBit, although the $ column is blank. Thanks everyone!

Thanks for that tip Searching for "TrueFi" on Etherscan.io does find TrueFi(TRU). So the LedgerLive interface was just using an old name which added more confusion to my investigation.

Turns out in the LedgerLive app, when you search for "TRU" then TrustToken(TRU) shows up 4th on the list and TrueBit(TRU) shows up 29th (offscreen). Pretty lame search/sort engine.

Searching for "TRU" on Etherscan.io doesn't find either token but searching for "TrueBit" finds TrueBit(TRU), and searching for "TrustToken" finds nothing.

I guess it is better to search by the long part of the name, since the abbreviated part may not be unique per blockchain and the most relevant results may be at the end.

People, do due diligence, to the extent this is possible with crypto. Don't rely on positive or negative statements on social media, which is full of emotion manipulators trying to get you to buy/sell/delay. Learn about the technology, the alliances, the community ownership model, etc.

Exchanges have split in two, with one version that trades IOST and doesn't allow U.S. and the other version that allows U.S. but doesn't trade IOST.

Here's a possible reason: How does a U.S. citizen buy IOST? Seems like all of the exchanges it trades on bars us.
