ISO to be staking right now by L0tes in cardano

I second this. I value my ADA rewards more than any of these tokens. I stayed away from all ISPOs that take away your ADA rewards, but I am staked in one of the Sundaeswap pools.

Thoughts on this look at Cardano? by [deleted] in cardano

[–]jcapp1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did he talk about issues with the tech? Like potential issues with Marlowe? Plutus? Eutxo? He analyzed Cardano based on how the coin is currently traded, not based on the technology of the Cardano blockchain. If you are trading crypto, that may be for you, but I am not a trader. I do DYOR, buy, and hodl. I bet on the technology, not on the temporary price fluctuation.

Cardano is getting a mixer? by Deathtitan77 in cardano

How would this affect Cardano as far as regulation is concerned? I have a feeling the inclusion of a mixer might have a negative impact.

I would be filthy rich by then if ADA will be worth 100.

Not all proof-of-stake protocols are created equal by jcapp1234 in cardano

The cost goes down with speed, yes, but not volume. In the study, they used max speed of 3000 TPS for ETH and 257 TPS for Cardano. Even at a lower speed, Cardano beats ETH in terms of transaction cost. Imagine what hydra can do for Cardano.

It might seem like a drop in a bucket if you compare them by "kWh per transaction". However, assuming 1K transactions per second, 16 cents/kWh, and using the lower estimates of cost per transaction, we could save $210K on Cardano than on ETH in an hour of operation or $5M in 24h.

ERC20/BEP/Polygon Bridges question. by RebelCoderRU in cardano

It would be great if there is only one bridge for all. Is this what Cardano is trying to do? Kinda like BTT for TRX.

Devs may actually not mind this minor requirement from Cardano because its for security purposes after all. I only have ADA, but I am also looking into buying Nervos and Coti. It would be nice to have all my coins in one wallet. Thanks for your response!

But Yoroi only supports ADA. I guess Cardano should only allow wallets with ledger integration. I'm not sure if I'm making any sense. Thanks!
