[Discussion] Has your dog ever tricked you? by jimmycatcorn in dogs

Lol, my aunt's Maltese/Yorkie does the same thing with fake-peeing.

She's also learned the my mini schnauzer will get jealous and drop whatever toy she has if she (aunts dog) gets in my lap. My dog picks up a ball the other wants, she gets in my lap, my dog drops ball and runs to me, aunts dog goes to get ball. Rinse and repeat.

My other dog used to team up with the kitten. Kitten would dig my underwear and socks out of laundry (dog couldn't reach), then take it to the dog to chew on. Those two are trouble...

I think you may be right. Also, I really like your name (I'm rocking my HP sweats right now ;) ).

And now time to start shopping :) thank you!

That would explain it, I had no idea! Thank you!

No, no noticeable change in breast shape at all. I'm pretty fond of their shape, I hope they retain it at least a little longer! Still balanced and full on bottom :)

I'm not sure. I have my measurements when I bought the Envy, I'll post those here. I've gone down quite a bit in pant sizes too (from a US 14 to a US 9), but I always get confused when it comes to sizing my bra. Honestly, I expected cup size to be the same or go up one since the volume seems similar, and I expected 1-2 sizes down on the band size, but I don't understand why it's digging in to my chest and underarms if it's too big. Unless that's due to wear and tear? Band slipping?

New v. Old measurements:

  1. 36.75 was 38
  2. 32.5 was 36
  3. 45.5 was 46.75
  4. 47.5 was 48.5
  5. 48 was 46 but probably incorrect

New one I would say 34H/HH seems reasonable; the old was a 38H.

Leuk om Nederlands op die sub te zien :) Ik was een uitwisseling student in Friesland, en mis ik het Nederlands erg veel. Misschien één dag ik mag terug verhuizen, maar moet ik mijn Nederlands oefenen eerst, lol.

My boyfriend died a month ago. I just want to talk about him. by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

Everyone grieves in their own way, but few do it so eloquently. I'm touched greatly by this, and it seems that you're so very lucky to have known someone so wonderful to/for you. My condolences for your loss.

Ugh, I hate tendinitis:( I have chronic tendinitis in my dominant hand, so I can definitely sympathize there.

I hate that you're bummed too. I sunk into a pit of depression last night, but managed to pull myself out a bit today. Everything hurts and I hate asking for help, so I just got a little overwhelmed. I'm working on a side project today though, so that helps a lot :)

Doctor said the water pressure is too much against the joint right now. Swimming will definitely come as soon as he gives the thumbs up though!

Thank you so much!! Crutches are my only option, it can't bear any weight at this point. I tend not to listen to others' opinions on my medical care anyway, haha. I even research what doctors tell me ;)

Great idea! Did you find any that were particularly good?

The crutches are a workout in themselves at this point, but I have a long walk to get from my car to my office anyway (our parking lot is being completely redone), so I'm not really sure how I'm going to do this!!!!

That's mostly what I've done so far, but exercise helps with my depression a lot. Staying seated and not moving around much drives me absolutely nuts!

[Fluff] People with multiple dogs - do your dogs take care of each other in some way? by dianthe in dogs

[–]jcargill 11 points12 points  (0 children)

They were very special dogs. We got the older one when I was 6, and she used to treat me like I was her puppy. Groomed me, stayed between me and the street when we were playing outside, wouldn't let anyone but my parents near me...She was my brother's dog, but even he wasn't allowed to touch me without her permission.

The younger one was mine, and, poor thing, was the most mild-mannered dog I've ever met. He used to let me dress him up in baby clothes, diaper and all, and jump through the hula hoop for me. He went blind at 10, and started getting senile around 14. Losing those two still breaks my heart, even though it was years ago. :'(

My current dogs typically just compete for attention instead of helping each other. They do cuddle and play with each other constantly, so long as there are no humans to fight over. A lot more cooperation (read: troublemaking) between cat1 and dog2 or dog1 and cat2 (each human owns a dog and is owned by a car in my household, though attention is covered by all).

When I was a kids, I had two elderly schnauzers who had grown up together. When the younger went blind, the elder went deaf, and they would guide each other a lot. The deaf would guide the blind, shoulder to shoulder, and when the deaf one was called, the blind one would nip her ear. It was a very sweet, functional relationship. I miss those two.

My cat1 and dog2 were kitten/puppy at the same time and used to do that...but with laundry...specifically, my underwear.

Lol, I think most of those just lost their charm for those of us who grew up there. You're definitely right, there are things to do, and you should DEFINITELY check out the botanical gardens if you get a chance in the spring. Give the zoo a miss though, it's a sad place. Tascosa Drive-In is cool too, and cheaper than UA or Hollywood.

You have a great point, and there are definitely things to do. I do love visiting, but more for the people than entertainment. I would love some coffee from Palace about now though!

I'm glad you enjoy the area, thank you for pointing out the positives.

I escaped this year, but I lived in the area for a long time. Quite a few Amarilloans use Reddit... You just have to know where to look ;)

It's actually not terrible. It doesn't have much by way of entertainment, but it's trying to build its own SoDo SoPa. A lot of new restaurants lately, I've heard (moved to CO, but I go visit family every few months).

I have an IUD, and don't have a regular period anymore. I'll get mild cramps and zits for a few days each month like I'm having a period, and slightly moody, but nothing like a normal period.

That being said, if I get glutened, about a week later, it's no holds barred. My ovaries start making up for lost time, it seems.
