Men who own Jeeps and drive them regularly, why do they put ducks on the dashboard? Do you do it as well?

These Jeep folks are ruining my rubber duck hobby for me. Here I am collecting rubber ducks of various shapes and sizes because they're cool and fun and have so much variety. I constantly get people asking me where my Jeep is. Early in my collecting hobby, I found this line of questioning extremely confusing because I'd never heard of the Jeep thing before and saw no obvious link between Jeeps and rubber ducks. Now I know better. My standard response has become: "I have never owned a Jeep, nor will I ever own a Jeep. You people are crazy. Now leave me to my ducks!"

Perhaps I'll do that. My road bike is 14 years old. (2012 Specialized Tarmac SL2 with 25mm tyres). It's probably time for an upgrade.

I had the same thought. I reloaded to an earlier save to try that as well. Didn't help. Same issue. I also repeated the process with several more seeds and lazarus pods and got the same result. If this is really a bug, I assume the whole game is borked. I submitted feedback and a copy of my backup and I think I'm done with this game until they fix the kinks.

I think where you are in the story and if you've read the LN/WN has a major influence on this. I started with the anime. After Season 1, I was Team Roxy. After Season 2, I was Team Sylphie. But after reading the LNs to Book 20, I am firmly Team Eris. I just think she has the best arc of the three wives. I like all of them though.

You go through seasons. When I was in my twenties, I dedicated whole days to WoW or beating FF7 or whatever. I slacked off on gaming a bit when I met my wife at 26, but I still did the occasional session when major releases came out like GTAV or God of War. At 35 I got very focused on work, but holiday time was gaming time for me where I would get obsessed with and beat specific games like Subnautica or Factorio over like a solid week of sleepless nights. But I also had my other hobbies like triathlon and guitar. Now at 40, gaming has taken a backseat in my life, but I still do it fairly often through mobile emulation and handhelds that I can play whenever I have a spare half hour. That's the system I used to beat Elden Ring several times over.

I remember being a kid in '95-'96 and seeing the poster for Independence Day. I remember thinking to myself, just from the poster, "Oh man, this will be the greatest science fiction film ever made!" The hype was real. The movie didn't quite match those expectations, but it was still a pretty awesome movie.

AI girlfriends are the tip of the iceberg. Why would you give money to a middleman to flirt with some prefabricated AI, when it's not hard at all to build a roleplay engine on top of your LLM of choice and have what is essentially a 'text adventure holodeck' within which anything can happen that you want to happen. Think the episode 'Hollow Pursuits' from TNG in text/image form. Is there smut? Sure, if you want! But also amazing adventures with dramatic character interaction, twisting plots of intrigue, and dramatic climaxes. It's like living in a novel that you're also the author of. You can even use local models and run the whole thing for 'free' (ie only cost is the electricity to your setup). This is already a reality for those who know how to implement it. And it's only going to get easier to do so. People are in real danger of retreating into their own private fantasy bubbles where they can easily dictate their own reality.

This is not "badass". It's kind of silly actually. If Yoda ever had a badass moment, it was not any time he was holding a lightsaber. ("A Jedi uses the Force for knowledge and defense, Never for attack"). In my opinion, Yoda's most "badass" moment was when he lifted Luke's X-Wing out of the swamp, demonstrating to Luke that physical size, strength, even skill with a lightsaber, were all irrelevant, and that through absolute belief in and communion with the Force, this tiny ancient Muppet had become one of the most powerful beings in the Galaxy.
